Yes and it doesn't apply to this. Occam's Razor, in its basic form is used to "explain things". It's used to solve competing theories or hypothesis, that are largely scientific or philosophical in nature.
To try and apply Occam's Razor to this thread is to misuse it.

The house to house thing sounds good...but really is a no go. One person at a house will just answer the door, show a doctored ID or a relative that is a citizen will show an ID and say nobody else lives theres.
Just make all social services,
welfare, entitlements and schools off limits to non-citizens. Commit any crime(including a traffic citation)...gone. No leasing property to non-citizens without proper Visas, documentation. Huge fines for housing illegals

This is not tenable. You can create a deportation force, but if you want any real progress you must incentivize self-deportation.

Ok. The discussion we're having here is border immigration and who's actually getting across the southern border. Not over seas immigration.
My contention is that despite these non-Mexican caravans, the vast, overwhelming majority of illegals remain Mexican and it remains that way because that's how Mexico wants it. The article you posted asserts this. As you can see, El Salvador and Guatemala make up only 5% of southern border immigrants.
Here's and excerpt from the article you posted...

As documented by the very article you posted, very few Non-Mexicans are getting across that border and that's exactly how Mexico wants it. The Non-Mexicans the Mexican Government let's into their country are indeed being granted access to our southern border.
Remember, we're staying on topic as best we can. The OP is talking about border immigration, not over seas immigration and to be clear, that's what I'm talking about as well. Sorry to have triggered you.
