Don't you mean 'thanks a lot, Amazon'?

This has all been coming in most big retail chains.

It is rumored that Sears is losing it's arse in selling off their servicing dept. with rumors of an Amazon.com buyout.

Remember the Christmas Toy Sears catalogue? Amazon rules over this now. K-Mart is slashing stores. Penney's isn't doing well.

If anything...With Trump as POTUS we stand a better chance of Macy's keeping their online ordering jobs in the USA and not over to India.

Hey thanks for savings those 700 jobs at Carrier, Donald. Only 9300 jobs needed to break even now!

I object to the fact that you are an alter AND that you think you're worthy enough to make a new thread for every stupid thought that enters into your pea-brain.

How many of those jobs were sent to foreigners?

Let's see........ Oh yes - 0!

I guess they could only take so much of an economy run by a community organizer! Four more years of Obama style ineptitude and the whole chain would be gone. Give Trump a few years to clear away the economic liberal rubbish, and they will probably reopen them!

LOL. Thanks Donald?

No, thanks to people like my wife who no longer go to stores to shop and instead go to Amazon for the free delivery.

Progressive stupidity knows no bounds.

Another victim of Amazon. The amount of Amazon boxes I saw at Christmas we truly eye opening. They are taking over the retail world at the expense of storefront jobs and eventually fulfillment jobs(at the rate they are adopting robotics).

It is what it is.

The Limited closed all of their stores.

It wasn't Donald Trump. It was online shopping. My wife hasn't purchased an article of clothing in an actual store in over 10 years. She shops strictly online.

If you're talking about when he personally called employers and won over a handful of jobs, then I don't have a problem with him taking credit for that.

Did he not have a meeting with Carrier and as a result they decided to keep some jobs in the US?

So Obama gets credit for all of those jobs that Trump inflated the numbers of, right?

One of the factors that we’re looking at is a more positive U.S. manufacturing business environment under President-elect Trump and some of the pro-growth policies he said he’s going to pursue. And so this is a vote of confidence.”

Of course they did. Hoping for some of that GM money.

Businesses fail and shut down every day. It's not Obama's or Trump's fault that Macy's didn't keep their customers happy enough to make money on them. Somebody was jokingly right...thanks, Amazon. Amazon shifted and filled a customer need. Macy's didn't. Sears didn't. KMart didn't. We'll see this story many more times as we always have.

Now if Macy's had said they are closing down and eliminating jobs in the US and relocating to another country, then you would have a gripe with leadership.
