Doubtful. How do you know CITIZENS did anything? Did you use E-Verify? Very birth certificates and social security cards? Or is this another MAGA vibes-based determination?
IF an illegal did so, I applaud them in a way. But they would have to be as dumb as you to do that and pass up the benefits of a self-deport ($1000, free ride, and possible re-entry) to intentionally get detained 'in the wild' and likely deported.

The way to 'solve' the Illegal Immigration issue is to put the screws to the Illegals so bad that they self deport back to their shithole of origin. The government isn't going to be able to deport even 5 million much less 30 or 40 million. Make it so Illegal Immigrants can't exist here which is what Trump Admin is trying to do but the other side of that is there are so many Illegals here that make it easy for them to exist in their own enclaves. When those numbers stat going down and there is no support system left the ones who are left will be left with no choice but to self deport.
