Universities rely heavily on donations. Donations function somewhat like tips. Slitting your throat to appeal to a group of people that doesn’t tip seems like bad business practice.

It is a financially prosperous strategy as well.
The 1619 curriculum, Racial sensitivity training, trans rights, critical race theory, white fragility, and the lecture series circuit (similar to the LSU “We should all hate whitey” stuff) isn’t free. Rather, it is high dollar stuff that could tally in the tens of billions globally (it isn’t just happening here in the USA). Someone is making some serious cheese by dividing the nation (world). It really is quite brilliant.

Turn off the cash flow and we can bring this down. I hate to say this and I'll get ripped for it, but it might even come down to not putting our butts in the stadium seats to get their attention.

i am 3rd generation that went to LSU. It will end with me...my kids will NOT be going there and no longer will I support the Alumni Foundation or attend sporting events. Done.
