choosing not to attend because you have to wear a little mask is a weird hill to die on.

And I find it weird that people are willing to do whatever someone in authority tells them to do, no matter how stupid and meaningless, just for a few hours of enjoyment.

Every restriction that we have allowed ourselves to endure has been noted by political parties and individuals who almost certainly don't have our interest in mind.

I just I think that with all the hoops that Sports will have to jump through to get back to normal, choosing not to attend because you have to wear a little mask is a weird hill to die on.

Who is dying on hill? I’m just not going to a game if I have to wear a mask. It’s dumb

Firstly. liability waivers are a joke. Second, with current medical technology, you will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, be able to prove exactly where and from whom you contracted the virus. At least not one like covid that has a 10 day-2 week incubation period and is already widespread in the population.

You could just as easily gotten it at the gas station, or wal mart.

FIFY

September is a day or two away. I get proper planning, but those publicizing it now (and those supporting it this thread) are the real virtue signalers imho.

This mask idea in TS sounds like a trial balloon to me. When the ticket sales and donations drop off to a certain level, the administration will reverse course.

You would have to pay me to attend a football game wearing a forking mask.

Good getting people to go to a football game requiring mask. People go to a game for enjoyment. Why the hell would anyone go (if strictly enforced) when it wouldn't be any fun.

So you would wear a mask this year if it meant you got to sit in the stadium?

Into the stadium...sure. In my seat...frick that.

Having to wear a mask is stupid. So are many of LSU's other policies. But I comply with them because I want to be in the stadium.

Wearing a mask is fricking hot and uncomfortable.

Go ahead people (not the poster I am replying to), burn up in 90+ degree weather but you better keep that son of a bitch on the ENTIRE GAME or your virtue signal doesn't count.

I am sure the administration and politicians will be wearing their mask the whole time in the suites.

And that's probably where we'll differ. I'll comply with a policy if it makes sense and I don't feel as if I'm being asked to alter my already established sense of reality and absurdity

To me, wearing an item that is not of any benefit to anyone is absurd.

How many of y’all complaining bring in oversized bags that can not be seen through,
Large umbrellas, and even have season tickets or go to games....

Pretty sure LSU will be able to enforce the rule if they have it and want to....there are lots of deputies through the stadium and more if they go this route...

I bet y’all run through the stop signs in your cars without seatbelts also...you rebels.....

Its' May, all these rules are just speculation at this point. August will give us a better determination.

Simple question. They gonna prohibit tailgating? No? Ok, how you gonna enforce it there? Oh you can’t? Then what’s the point of enforcing it in the stadium? Hmmmm, let’s not apply it to football games, you say? Oh ok, so students have to buy into your “for the greater good” and have their fall break canceled to avoid them traveling while you bring in football teams and thousands of fans from across the country? GOOD LUCK

pretty sure if enough people stood up and said we are not going to put up with this horse shite then after enough money was lost the school would get the hint.

no masks through the peak time of this, no masks when it was brought down, no masks since, now WE MUST HAVE MASKS

bullshite to keep the fear going

If this proves to be the case, then for the first time since I was in 4th grade I will likely not attend an LSU game.
