Prediction: If one guy pulls his mask off during the game the officials might advise him to put it on or leave.
Then all 100,000 fans pull off their masks. What do they do then?

I think the whole mask thing is foolishness, but if that's the virtue i have to signal to have fans at football games on time, frick it. I'll wear a full burka.
Absolutely agree

Well it looks like all of you will be home and the figs get to enjoy it b/c your stubborn. So the joke is on you.
We're not lemmings who take marching orders from bureaucrats and television overlords. This shite is so overblown it's absurd. Your Southpark scenario will not happen in Tiger Stadium.

Yeah that will be funny to watch them try to enforce this.

Not saying you aren't entitled to your personal decision I guess I just really don't understand the outrage over masks that some of you have to the point of not enjoying events and or activities because of them.
Especially since you can just immediately take it off once you get to your seat. But again...i dont think this even happens.

I'm down for allowing them to ponder ways to get the stadium full for Texas and limit the revenue hit for the athletic department and TAF. I'll wear a mask into the stadium to get inside and just have take it off at kick off.

Stop the game.
Are people going to sit and watch nothing?

How exactly do you plan to tailgate during the day with a mask on your face? Do you go the entire game without eating or drinking anything?
Posted on 5/26/20 at 2:57 pm to mahdragonz
They would never do that with the game being broadcasted.

I used the word 'officials' and you thought 'referees'. I'm talking about stadium cops. Do you think referees will stop the game if people don't wear masks? Really?
One person? 100 people? 1,000 people? Refs are not going to deal with this. It's up to stadium crew.

and when 5000 people pass out due to heat/humidity what will the virtue signalers have to say about their health ? Foolishness, but coming from authoritarian leftists and their useful idiots it shouldn't be surprising.

They could accomplish this by simply allowing people to attend the games normally? That would just about do it.

It's not an outrage, just as it is not a protest.
It is simply a decision not to comply with foolishness.

You act like LSU is the only one talking about this proposal. EVERY theme park in the country is instituting these policies in order to open. It is not surprising that sporting events and concerts are exploring the option in order to allow in person attendance.

I reject the notion that this policy is required to allow attendance. It is only "required" because the entities are scared of Twitter and the media. That is why people are so hostile to the idea.
Wearing masks at large outdoor activities that would require you to take the mask on and off constantly is just nonsense.

That's what I mean. They can make whatever unenforceable rules they want. I don't care as long as they authorize the stadium be open to fans.

If this proves to be the case, then for the first time since I was in 4th grade I will likely not attend an LSU game.
