Yup

Well see now then we have to cancel the game because 100,000 people can't go without water in 90 degree weather for 4 hours.

And that's probably where we'll differ.
It is. Do I actually want to wear a mask? Of course not. The whole concept is stupid and pointless. It's just in my opinion that compared to all of the crazy policies that have been floated out by our government to control the virus (lockdowns, contract tracing via cell phones, forced temperature checks, requiring businesses to acquire personal information from those who entered, etc.) having to wear a mask so the season can be played like normal is trivial. So I find the idea that someone would be willing to sell their season tickets and not go to a game because of a mask requirement silly.

They better stock the medical stations across the stadium if you have 100,000 people wearing masks the whole game.

Especially in September.

pretty sure if enough people stood up and said we are not going to put up with this horse shite then after enough money was lost the school would get the hint

Pretty sure they already know the financial impact and are weighing it in with methods to go forward....

Keep running those Stop signs... those are for the people that are poor drivers you rebel you...

They allowed you to bring in your own water in past due to afternoon games....and straws work just fine...

Sure there are other better solutions out there that they will come up with...

They have a lot of people trying to work this out

Wrong! Everyone knows Dudley Debosier is the official ambulance chaser firm of LSU athletics.

Last time in BR I also learned from a billboard that LSU athletics has an official hospice.

Bravery has nothing to do with it and never was there an implication of it.

You might want to slow down on the cliche' responses.

Explain how you justify putting different sets of rules on football games vs students? Cause we know dam well it won’t be the same

I'm not wearing a mask. that's not absurd. It's a personal decision.

We're still allowed to make them.

I have seen A LOT of Conservatives that are extremely Pro-choice since this has been going on. Very interesting.

They allow people to bring in their own water to supplement what is already in the stadium. They have a contract with Aramark and other vendors to sell products, even if you take away the absurdity of not allowing people to eat anything while they are in there.

How does one eat or drink without at least partially removing the mask? What about tailgating? What about people with breathing issues or dealing with the heat and humidity? Where are you going to get the thousands of extra officers to enforce this, and who is going to pay them?

It is simply totally unfeasible to enforce or adhere to and anyone with a brain can see that. It is a fake solution/suggestion that is rooted in nothing except appeasing the twitter mob.

What an enormous waste of time and resources if true. LSU football games are voluntary. If you are scared, stay home.

But your observation doesn't make sense.

Every decision we make is based on an entirely different set of criteria that has to be sorted out.

One size does not fit all.

“LSU football games are voluntary. If you are scared, stay home.”

You are correct they are voluntary... but rules to attend set by the owner of the venue ...
Such as no large umbrellas to shade you for afternoon games...no smoking etc...

If you can not follow rules of the sponsor of the event for a few hours guess you will not be at the event...

I will be sitting in my regular seat regardless And adjust as required for the common good of all attending...

If required I will wear as mask to be considerate of others and to protect myself from inconsiderate people like you...

As long as you and the others who may be concerned don't take off the mask at all--during the game and while tailgating before the game--then props to you.

No drinking, or eating, or wiping the sweat off your face, though. Keep in mind that to properly virtue signal, you must retain the mask for the entire day. Taking it on and off and touching everything defeats the purpose of wearing it to begin with.

To the contrary. In fact, I oppose creating problems needlessly. Simply have the games proceed normally, recognizing that there is nothing the school can mandate that will effectively prevent the spread of a respiratory virus in enormous outdoor crowds, and that people will need to attend at their own risk. Therefore, none of these fake problems related to enforcement of a nonsense policy will be an issue.

So if the gubmint said sucking dicks would protect you from COVID, are you down? Because I believe MikelBR attends LSU games. Please be considerate of others.

I expect the same standard of commitment from the virtue signalers who say they won't attend a game if required to wear a mask. Sounds like a lot of people on this board will be selling their tickets.
