What if I told you that LSU did other things besides play amateur sports?

Drive around campus any Monday to Friday and you’ll see the problem. Since the early 2000s when I graduated from LSU, the student makeup has become more and more ghetto. Every year I see more thugs on campus than the previous year. And before you call me a racist, which I am not, know that I am simply telling you what I see on campus every day - and that is a bunch of kids dressed like Tupac. Campus isn’t nearly as safe as it used to be and LSU is not what it used to be. I love LSU, but sadly I hope my kids go elsewhere for college.

Tate started all this with his DEI admissions crap, which put race above merit. LSU does not pursue local academic talent when that talent is white. My neighbor’s son had a 4.0 GPA at Catholic with a 34 on his ACT and the family couldn’t even get LSU admissions to call them back, literally zero interest from LSU. He’s currently at Bama on a free ride. I guarantee you LSU is still taking kids with ACT scores of 21 in the name of diversity. LSU’s problems are bigger than most of you realize.

In short, Tate trashed LSU. That is why some people don’t like him.

Yep, Tate ushered in the DEI crap at LSU but the mastermind behind bringing Tate here and embedding DEI throughout all colleges in Louisiana is still in her position as Commissioner of Higher Education. She’s a former Obama appointee and initiated an executive budget objective that excluded White and Asian students. Nathan Koenig exposed this in a Hayride article.

F King and Tate both pushed increasing the black student, and to a lesser degree, Hispanic student population. I believe it was under Tate when requirements were either eliminated or lowered for acceptance. If you look at the demographics of LSU compared to almost every other SEC school we have a much larger black student population despite some SEC states having a larger overall percentage of this group. This is not a coincidence. I don’t mind black students. LA does have a larger percentage of black people than most states, and we should certainly try to keep the best students in thestate regardless of race or anything else. With that said, though, many of those who are coming to LSU now are not the best and brightest.

Seems like his diversity initiative was the problem that needed fixing, sad that diversity on campus is a problem. So the logic is only black athletes should be admitted as long as they help LSU win sports games, they are welcome, if not they it’s too many. Sad but I guess that’s what yall want fixed. Black students are only allowed to be athletes
