Immigration can be an incredibly positive outcome for a welcoming nation if it is executed correctly. At one time we did this, and those who immigrated here assimilated and became Americans. The current "immigration" policy does not facilitate assimilation into our culture. It is diluting our culture so that eventually we become a third world hell hole like the places the invaders have come from. This traitorous act from our "leaders" is perpetrated so that all of these invaders become Democrat voters one day, and the Democrats are forever rulers of a mountain of shite. This is the truth that cannot be rationally refuted.

Your cognitive abilities have to do with memory, attention and processing.

No one fears legal immigrants and I think the majority of this board is OK with brain-draining other countries as it helps America.
I am married to an immigrant and employ another one. They are both legal and went through the process we have in place to become a citizen. My wife did so 20 years ago before we met and my employee went through it two years ago with an attorney in Houston. The process is much harder now but it is possible. Doing it legally is the acceptable difference vs the invasion of our border that anyone with a brain is against.
Also, the one thing your study leaves out is the fact many taxpayers are against having to carry the burden of funding these illegals. We have seen repeatedly that they get free housing, EBT cards, cell phones, etc.
If being against that is considered low cognitive ability then I will gladly be classified as ignorant.
