I think he meant major cities across the country. Those three would be hard pressed to be called a major city!
Nope. He was definitely speaking about LA specifically.
He’s just mad his good ole boy “conservative “ candidate got trounced (for the 2nd election) in a row now. But hey, his candidate did play LSU baseball though. So I’ve heard a time or two.

So how are we a red state again?
In the presidential races, we vote Republican.
Our Senators are Republican
Except for Governor, our state officials are Republican.
Except for one district our representatives to Congress are Republican.

I’d throw Baton Rouge and EBR Parish into that conversation as well. You just need to look at the current mayor and recent local elections to see that BR is far from red.
EBR is blue

We have a mayor?

Virginia has the same problem. I wish NOVA could just go ahead and establish their own commonwealth.

And Shreveport is a complete shithole

At it's core, Louisiana is a Long Brothers, populist entitlement state. The people here feel they're "owed" something.
If voters in this state are marshalled and organized, it could be flipped. Bill Clinton won it in 92.
This. We are super conservative on social issues. Heck, a lot of the democrats are pro-life.
Fiscal issues? That's someone else's problem.

He got elected with a big democrat vote. Folks who were sick of the crime and said 'We gotta try something different.'

can almost guarantee you next governor will NOT be a conservative.
What’s your definition of conservative?
There are like 3-4 wings of the GOP right now
The best politicians we have like Massie and Paul are more libertarian
Then you have other good ones like Hawley and Vance who are more populist
Someone like Jeff Landry would be considered pretty far to the right - similar to Tea Party conservative

No it hasn’t.
His voting record isn’t much different than Kennedy’s Higgins’ or Johnson’s
I can’t believe every one of our senators and reps voted against removing troops from Syria and Somalia

You make it sound like Cassidy is fair and balanced. The spineless jellyfish voted to charge Trump with inciting the J6 "insurrection." You win the internet award today for gaslighting.

We are almost like Arizona, Red but the marxists have taken over the metro areas and will dominate elections by any means necessary.
Co/Az fell quicker, because only one city needed to be taken.
Listen to the media and their polls, they will justify it for you.

What elections do they dominate?
Every state wide office holder is a Republican except Governor and that will change this year. Wilson isn’t winning
The GOP holds a super majority in the legislature
All but 1 rep is a Republican
The democrats only dominate local elections in BR and Nola

Trust me from outside, NOBODY has ever considered LA as a "red state" or anything other than Chicago South. I55 baby...

Stop with jungle primaries. Voters in the (R) primaries that aren't actually (R) have screwed Louisiana Republicans for decades, which was likely by design.
People claim you can have a dick and swim against girls if you've been on hormone therapy for some period of time, it should be good for election primaries too, right?
