The governor and every major city is ran by Democrat mayors. We have Cassidy as a Senator which splits that vote. Congress can’t get shite done. We can’t even get R’s to win a Republican ran race. So how are we a red state again?

Not a fan of JBE, but if he was anyplace north of the Ohio River or East of El Paso he would be considered a Republican just based on his pro 2nd Amendment and pro-life stances alone.

I know this board and Trumpkins hate Cassidy for not getting in line to suck Trump off, but from an overall voting record he has been quite conservative.

LA is reliably red. It's just that a good segment of the Republican base are a bunch of idiots overall and the state GOP is essentially a frat boys party.

But do not forget, he vetoed the bill to stop men posing as girls from competing in girls sports.

AND , Cassidy specifically insulted and went against All louisiana voters who support trump. His job is to vote FOR us, by polling the majority, NOT voting how HE feels.

Corrupt election affect Louisiana….and our 6 electoral votes will soon turn blue if we don’t get rid of the machines and dirty voter rolls…

Not when his vote really matters.

I’d throw Baton Rouge and EBR Parish into that conversation as well. You just need to look at the current mayor and recent local elections to see that BR is far from red.

I don’t think it’s about the voting machines. It has more to do with lazy arse voters.

I hear bitching and moaning about “crime and violence” ALL the time. What tiny amount of voters who showed up were either Democrats or people that remembered a sign propped up in a neighbors yard.

My point is you can blame it on voting machines and it’s possible in some cities that voting is compromised; however, what I witnessed first hand was an empty gym other than the 20 volunteers that worked the election. Louisiana and BR in particular deserves the current shite show that not only exists but will persist.

Next governor should be Rep if they don't screw it up. BR and NO will never back and you know why.

This is great and all but I worry this is largely a fluke because Adrian Perkins was so incredibly bad
