Nice way that I'm going to believe that 1/3 voters even know who Abraham is.

Versus an incumbent governor this early...this isn't exactly great news for JBE.

I already posted this same poll.

It's still another poll where JBE can't get above the 50.1% needed to win outright for the first round. He's still at the floor for a democrat in Louisiana.

Numbers like this would force a runoff where Abraham is within the margin for error as this same poll has this for the one on one matchup.

quote:

Q: If the 2019 election for Governor of Louisiana were held today, and the candidates were just the Democrat John Bel Edwards and the Republican Ralph Abraham, for whom would you vote?

John Bel Edwards: 47%

Ralph Abraham: 45%

Undecided: 8%

And the undecideds usually break for the challenger and especially so if these are any indication being almost dead even with a big number of not sures and no opinions....

quote:

Q: Do you think Louisiana is headed in the right direction or is it on the wrong track?

Right direction: 42%

Wrong track: 41%

Not sure: 17%

quote:

Q: What is your opinion of John Bel Edwards?

Favorable: 45%

Unfavorable: 42%

No opinion: 13%

And look how they skewed this poll in favor of democrats.

quote:

Republican 35%

Democrat 50%

Non-Partisan 15%

Table 2. PARTY

I hadn’t dug into the details of the poll but I said just the other day that I thought that poll was skewed and voila.

Media is media is media and the local media is as liberal as well as the national media with their flat out lies and propaganda.

I did not and will not ever vote for that lying, crooked bum, edwards!

Educate yourself. You asking “seriously though, who the frick is Ralph Abraham” is EXACTLY why Louisiana is beyond pathetic and full of shite relative to arse backwards politics.

Most Louisiana’s voters don’t even know who the Doc is!
They just know he’s not JBE.

Bumpy Headed, Tax and Spend Edwards and his Dishonor Code are dead, and the Doc will sign his death certificate.

Also, Rispone needs to get out of the race if he is only pulling 10%...can't have a repeat of the last race.

He is my favorite candidate, but if he cant gain ground quickly, I agree. The strategy should be to galvanize behind one candidate and win the general.

And the race hasn’t really started.

Today’s Advocate front page highlights a traffic crisis in BR metro and a tax giveaway to the film industry. I like it.

I believe there probably are 50 percent of registered Dems in La.

La. is not primarily Republican.

That breakdown may be correct.

Wrong
If Edwards doesn’t get half the votes, in the first primary he is in s race.

Incorrect. Let those that understand politics and how running a race works discuss all this. Now back to your hole.
