Yeah I grew up in a suburb and went to private schools until college. I’ve never tried to hide that. But go head and have your eureka moment.
I only went to public schools and the black kids, hispanic kids and Asians kids had the same access to everything at that school as I did.
Where was the oppression? Our class valedictorian was from Korea, over a 4.0 and a perfect score on his sat.

You are completely full of shite.
There is no doubt that it enters the curriculum to some degree informally.
This now perhaps gives parents power to root out the communist gobbledygook.
Teachers can keep their woke religious beliefs to themselves.
That being said, I do believe Landry is much more interested in low-hanging fruit (social issues) than addressing major economic issues, legal issues, systemic corruption, etc.

Exactly. Just because it is not officially part of the curriculum doesn’t prevent progressive freak teachers from inserting it into the classroom whenever they want to indoctrinate students. This statute places a barrier to that unofficial agenda. The progressive skank with the cucked husband posting in this thread and all up in arms about it hates that this safety net has been put in place. She is attempting to hide her disdain under false pretenses.

Right they will educate the children on how slavery benefited the slaves right?

Go talk to University Lab School parents who aren't willfully blind, and get back to us. ULS is the state model for public school in LA, and CRT bleeds all through the curriculum from elementary level reading assignments to math word problems.

That’s actually one of my biggest beefs with it.
I tried like hell to raise my kids the same way Cubbies has, but the current society is bound and determined to force another mindset and construct upon them. I’m actually in total agreement with her “social construct” point.
I’m don’t teach“color blindness.” We just don’t talk about skin color when we talk about people. I don’t think it’s important so why would I make a big deal about someone’s skin color to my kids?
My son is starting to understand that people are frequently identified by skin color. He recently asked me why people with brown skin are called black if their skin is actually brown and why white people are called white when their skin is actually peach.

I still have no clue who you are or why you’re fixated on a rumor from 15 years ago. I have never interacted with you and you come to this political board regularly to rehash this rumor from 2010. Move on, friend. You think about me having sex more than anyone I know and I have no idea who you are or why you care who I did or didn’t sleep with 15 years ago.
I get that you feel compelled to insult me on a political board but why? Why do you care enough about a perfect stranger to call her names on the internet? It’s just weird. And you’re in your 40s or 50s? Acting like a salty 15 year old.

This is about you. You are proud of something that you are pretending to be true.
You’re pretending that teaching your own kids to identify people by their skin color is normal and acceptable. This is actually about you and your own shitty parenting. If you’re not insecure about it why are you defending it so hard? Raise all the racist kids you want to. Kids are products of their environments.

A belief that skin color isn’t important is racist and an opinion only a white person is privileged enough to hold.

Silent complacency I am shocked.

This is, of course, blatantly false.
Any text or curriculum that include teaching on “whiteness” or “systematic racism” or “decolonization” or “cultural competence” or “white privilege” or half a dozen other concepts is based on Critical Race Theory - which is an explicit outgrowth of Marxist Critical theory.

What school in Louisiana utilizes this type of curriculum? Seems like you’re assuming this is happening but do you have actual evidence?

I only keep track of Missouri schools which are doing this.
Here’s the Missouri List:
Affton
Alta Vista
Aurora
Belton
Brentwood
Clayton
Ferguson Florissant
ETA: Francis Howell
Hazelwood
ETA: Hillsboro
Jennings
ETA: Kansas City
Kirkwood
Ladue
Lees Summit
Lindbergh
North Kansas City
Parkway
Pattonville
Rockwood
Springfield
St Louis Public Schools
U City
Webster Groves
ETA: Wentzville
I left the private schools off the list.

Do you really think that not a single school in the state of Louisiana is teaching anything like this?

It doesn’t matter what I think. If it’s happening, there must be evidence of it happening.

I'm just curious what you do think. You think not a single teacher or school in the state teaches the tenets of CRT?

Only one of us has to pretend that race doesn't exist in order to raise kids that aren't racist.
I've read your posts enough on here to know that you are a shitty mother. This is just another example. And, your kids will grow up being passively racist in the same way that most leftists are.
It is what it is.
My kids actually can discuss race with their friends that are of different races. Both parties truly treat each others as equals.
I can't imagine how insulting it is to a black person for you to not acknowledge that they are black or to shy away from that. It's absurd.

It’s the shell game.
“I don’t think anyone is teaching that.”
“Here’s four examples of it.”
“Good. Whiteness is bad and there is systemic racism and we should be deconstructing oppressive systems of power.”
“You realize everything you said there is rooted in Marxism, right?”
“No, it’s not.”
And around the mulberry bush we go.
