You're only saying that because he's Black.

Oh, and you're wrong about neurosurgeons. They are entirely unique in the field of medicine.

I am happy that you are intelligent and therefore able to have a true discussion. We are 17.5 Trillin dollars in debt and continue to run deficits. This weakens America and makes us vulnerable in the world.

Ben Carson is a great man who cares about people and his country. He has lived a tough life and persevered. He has seen first hand the process of living in the ghetto and then Ivy League training. Wouldn't you agree that we need a leader who helps people find the strength from within? He helps people young and old. He has compassion for the struggles that many find themselves in. He wants to restore true hope and change the course that we are heading down. Don't belittle him because you grew up differently. It's the variety that gives us the spice in life.

I for one challenge Rex and all other posters to educate themselves in this man and his polices. I argue that he is logical, rational, and compassionate. If given the opportunity we could all come together for the common good like this country did in WWII.

You may keep laughing all that you want but it doesn't change reality. My world is better in that I was given an opportunity despite being dirt poor and became a physician. It was through a lot of hard work and sacrifice that my family will never know the struggle that I went through.

Having gone through it, I have no pity for able bodied souls that make bad choices. Actions have consequences. Do good things, the world is your oyster. Do bad things and you will have it harder. Very simple.

And yes I thank God Almighty in the heavens above that he blessed me and guided me through this journey that we call life!!!
So Carson has now reached "angel" status for you? How much do you really know about this guy?

Also, I guess in your "reality" that good things happen to good people and bad things happen to bad people, no exceptions. Therefore everyone who is down on their luck is there entirely of their own doing. Is that right?

Since you know so much about him, why don't you tell us a little about his beliefs and ethics beyond ObamaCare?

Isn't this similar to the success stories of Obama and Clinton? Neither of them started life wealthy.

Seriously, give us some links that provide us some background on his thoughts on economic development, social security, foreign policy, how he felt about TARP, the Iraq War, the Patriot Act, etc. I doubt in a year that he even doubles down on the "ObamaCare is the worst thing done to citizens since slavery" argument.

LOL, you are more delusional than your sister VB.

You are taking money out of my pocket to pay for your health insurance, so yes, you are on welfare.

I passed my 4 'accountancy' classes will in college. I was half asleep in the classes and barely did my homework and still passed 'accountacncy'.

Ummm, someone who dons a doghead, and make youtube vids of himself is a perv.

Did you ever go through med-school? Did you ever earn and MD? Did you ever major in psyc at Yale?

Was you a Professor of nuerosurgery, oncology, plastic surgery?

Did you ever head up a team of surgeons successfully performing one of the most difficult medical procedures know(separating conjoined twins at the head)?

How many lifes have you saved?

Dr Carson's accomplishments are so many, the man is a very remarkable person.

Quit embarrassing yourself.

So now resorting to homophobic personal attacks. Nice.

I'm still waiting for you to point out one thing I've posted here that's was "delusional" or even incorrect.

You can't. You can't because you don't have the intellectual ability to debate or even discuss. You sit in the peanut gallery and lob stink bombs and emoticons here and there. That's the extent of your presence here.

At least Rex counters each and every point. You can't.

Dr Carson has written six best-selling books so many of his views are probably out there in print.

I am sure that we will be hearing about his political views now that he has all but announced he is running for Prez.

I think Dr Carson made many of this views at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast. The little muzzie boy was not too amused to say the least.

Um, K. You said this obama or soretoro or whatever this fools name is, that he did not sit in a 'church' that preached the 'hate whitey' doctrine.

This false prophet, jeremiah wrong/wright believed and taught 'black liberation' theology which was the brain child of some loon named james cone.

The teaching of black liberation theolgy was all over this wright and his 'church' website. When it became apparent that soretor/obama was going to get the nomination, boom, down went the website of wright and the site was scrubbed of all this hateful teaching.

Try somewhere else spanky, you ain't fooling me.

Carson has some splainin to do. Like Palin, he discovered the sweet spot in the GOP ....the loons who respond like Pavlov's dog to buzzwords like tyranny, freedoms, Allinsky. It's given her quite the income and Carson seems to be doing the same. His interviews sound like he's reciting tea party bumper stickers.

Today he says this:
quote:

When you rob someone of their incentive to go out there and improve themselves, you are not doing them any favors. When you take somebody and pat them on the head and say, ‘There, there, you poor little thing. … Let me give you housing subsidies, let me give you free health care because you can’t do that.’ What would be much more empowering is to use our intellect and our resources to give those people a way up and out.

Yet without govt subsidies, his family couldn't have made it. That public library he was sent to by his mother, he read with glasses bought by Uncle Sam. His mother was able to make ends meet with welfare and food stamps. Looks like all that govt asst didn't kill his incentive.

This from his book:

“By the time I reached ninth grade, mother had made such strides that she received nothing but food stamps. She couldn’t have provided for us and kept up the house without that subsidy.”

And:

“As I’ve said, we received food stamps and couldn’t have made it without them.”

What changed? Why was he singing the praises of govt asst a short time ago and no longer?

He's reading from the crazy script now. He's found the sweet spot.

Carson is being emotional and irrational when he says this. How did people "make it" before the mid-20th century?

I said he was no prophet nor did he preach hate whitey. In fact, the "hate whitey" comes from the supposed Michelle Obama tape we've been waiting 6 years for General Lee to produce.

Wright's church was and is a big part of Chicago politics and society. Freakin Oprah went. It's a freakin mega church. Stop reading WND.

Ask him. He's the one who wrote it.

But I can tell you, they didn't get free glasses to read and study and become neurosurgeons..
