Anyone surprised at this was deluding themselves. The photo of him cowering in the gallery on 1/6 was enough to know he didn't even have bark, much less bite.

How? What would you have expected him to do at this point?
The local and state police are involved and tearing up the encampments and in the grand scheme of things, the delaney protests are small and exactly what was going on months ago, under his predecessor.
Not going to bring in the guard for at most, a hundred protestors.
