I have no idea how they came up with these numbers - but a lof of people from the Indian subcontinent identify as white. I think this is particularly true f Hindus and Jains, but possibly Muslims as well. So, some of those white, non-British might be people with Indian/Pakistani roots if this is a self-identification survey.
