They tried to paint the capitol protestors like they did to the people as Waco and Ruby Ridge -- insane white supremacists hellbent on overthrowing the government. There seems to be a lot of walking back nowadays. CNN had to walk back their report of House Rep Ted Lieu grabbing a crow bar to fend off attackers. Turns out Ted Lieu grabbed a Pro Bar because he was hungry.
