She was a rising figure in the neo con circle of the GOP. She and others like her didnt like Trumps grasp on such large portion of the GOP base. Then used the Kangaroo Court J6 committee to manipulate perception. It was a inner party power grab that backfired. Likely the first part only. They probably don’t even know or care how she voted. Charles Manson died in 2017, but if he had declared that he was anti Trump, the Dems probably would’ve pushed to pardon him.

She wasn't sacrificed. She will be given a few book deals and the signing bonuses will probably be monstrous. She will be a permanent fixture on state media platforms. She will be able to do a lot of illegal shite in the future, and not have to worry about being punished.
Imo, the pros outweigh the cons. She'll get all that... and it only cost her a political career that would've been very limited anyway, since neocons are outdated and Americans are more interested in populist politicians.
