I get your point, but... most poor people don't do the vast majority of those things.
Poor people aren't flying on planes. They aren't baking... so checks and credit cards aren't something they use. They don't hold jobs. They don't own cars. They aren't starting businesses or buying real estate.
If they own guns, they aren't buying them from a gun store. They shop at places for alcohol, meds, and tobacco, that don't check IDs.

The dims assertions are asinine on there face. Even if there are any factual statistics that state blacks don't have id's in numbers compared to other groups, there's no evidence that they can't get them.

As just an example, a large percentage of these folks DID have an ID, but it is no longer VALID due to suspension for failure to pay citations, fines, etcetera. A Wisconsin study put this figure at 17%. They just cannot put together the hundreds or thousands of dollars to resolve the suspension, and that suspended ID is usually not valid for the purposes at issue.

If you lack the intellectual fortitude necessary to obtain a license, you should not be voting, and should have no say in decisions which effect the lives of those who are able to obtain a license.

DL, sure, but a non-DL ID can't get suspended. That would be like suspending a birth certificate.

This. When I think of areas that would struggle to get an ID or live without one, would be Appalacha, maybe in remote western areas.
I would like to know how many people in Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Detroit dont have an ID. No way its 25%, it would suprise me if its more than 1%.

Don’t destroy the victimhood narrative on here. A poor black, Latino, or Asian family in an urban environment has far more access to services and resources than a poor rural white family. But white supremacy and all!!!!!!!

The Democratic party of South Carolina took a old black woman, from a rural area of the state, to Washington to testify before Congress that she couldn't get a state ID because she didn't have transportation to the DMV while we were supposed to ignore the fact that she got transportation to go several states away.
