I actually agree with Lindsay.
But, the NRA and gun lobbies are all powerful in America. It's scary that we're unable to achieve common sense gun guntrol of any sort nowadays, even at the level of Clinton's measures.

Most proposals do not include penalties for false reports. They should.
TORT REFORM! But most states already have significant penalties for frivolous pleadings. They just are never enforced.

Yeah, he is right about every right having its limits.
But what they want to pass is a lie!!! They want to be able to take your guns away legally just because someone down the street or across the state says so!
The second amendment is in place to protect us from a tyrannical gov't. Are you naive enough to think that when they want to confiscate YOUR guns they won't just simply get someone to say that you are a threat.
Anyone dumb enough to believe this isn't just a ploy to disarm law abiding citizens is deranged!
You should secure your guns. But not for the reasons you believe your should. It is ridiculous to think that YOU locking up your guns is a component of keeping guns out of the hands of criminals.
You realize it isn't illegal for a criminal to own a gun. They can buy them from the same store or person that you bought yours from.
You realize the ONLY reason they want to steal YOUR gun is because it is cheaper than buying it. They are still going to get their guns regardless of this law. Felons included!

If no rehabilitation within 2 years, seizure of guns goes final with the ability to petition a court within 90 days to review the panel's decision...an appeal essentially. The subject is afforded free legal counsel throughout. Sounds quite expensive but since when did that matter.

It's pretty rare to agree with ANYONE 100% of the time.
Not agreeing with them during time B doesn't mean you shouldn't agree with them during time A or C if they align with you.

It's unique to use agreement as an excuse to praise someone's personality, then use disagreement to pretend you've always hated that person. Or, unique outside of this place...

This is mostly TDS projection. People see someone dislike a guy's position and they respond, "you loved HIM when he blah blah blah"
Total red herring. Loved their ACTIONS in THAT time. I loved his actions and rhetoric during Kav hearings. They were awesome
That doesn't mean I suddenly believed he and I would always be 100% aligned and the same goes for pretty much everyone else
