And no one complained when they built that monstrosity of an african museum. Much less the fact that the Smithsonian has no museum dedicated to heritage Americans, chinese, native Americans, spanish Americans, etc.

He should just say nevermind and then build a monster statue of Robert E Lee at the entrance of Arlington, it is his (well his wife's) land and the govt stole it from him.

A ton of people complained.
And there is a Native American museum. It’s decent. It has an amazing restaurant, actually. I recommend it if you’re ever visiting.
As someone who lives here, I do hate what’s been going on with the Kennedy Center. It just doesn’t make sense. My wife and I have been attending shows there for years. Why it was chosen as a political pawn is beyond me.
The rest of it… ugh. It’s all just noise.
