what legitimate discussion was being had in the first 1.5 pages of this thread?

I tried to have discussion, only to be bombarded with "but Obama" replies

Why are you responding to a thread asking liberals about their opinion?

Don't do whataboutism, please.

I mean, you folowed up your first post in this thread a minute later and with no other post in between, with this:

I always find it amusing when a question posed to liberals, democrats, or neverTrumpers, 90% of the replies will be from hardcore Trump supporters answering for them

Wait CNN is now a legit news source on here?

What went on at the IRS was awful, as I expressed at the time: LINK /

But you're making a leap that has not been established, and the actual investigation did not support some of the most fantastic GOP allegations

Also, how would you suggest one argue against the retort "well, he's just not presidential" other than bringing up comparisons to other presidents, the last one before him being the most obvious?

I don't know. I never said that.

Leadership is not something confined to the presidency.

I don't know. It's a pretty unique subset of it.

The UN needs to be undermined, if not altogether abolished. The best think a president could do is to withdraw the United States from the United Nations.

This is all just surface. He clearly has a strategy on how to interact with world leaders. You may not like the way it looks, but none of this is evidence that his production on the world stage has been negative. Maybe the results have been negative, but that's not shown with a response like "He's too mean to X, and he's too nice to Y."

So, you support the majority of Trump's actions so far as President?

Which ones do you support and which do you oppose?

bison
a want
Drac
boogie
Cruiserhog
tarzana
Celticdog

I don't know. There is maybe 10-15 regulars that are truly liberal on here.

Then there are the nevertrump conservatives/libertarians that get lumped in with the liberals.

Not necessarily

Which ones do you support and which do you oppose?

support immigration reform (but not his flavor)
support leveling the trade playing field

the wall is just fricking stupid.....there are better ways than some phallic symbol that costs billions.....they'll get around/under it in no time.

his public interaction (twitter) marginalizes the office in which he sits......the one where the Reagan-level statesmen sat.

his dick-wagging at everyone else in the world......it's called diplomacy. Read The Art of War. Trump sure as Hell could brush up on it as it pertains to the world (I get he has on the private level).

ETA: and, he's just an awful human being.
