Sadly and unfortunately this is not the first time that this has occurred in American history. Go back and do some research regarding the treatment of citizens when Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus. There were many horror stories that occurred against people who disagreed, spoke up or showed any form of resistance. Lincoln and his government were ruthless as hell.
Everyone is aware of what happened in Nazi Germany and Communist countries. The people in the former Eastern Bloc countries had a saying when the KGB/Secret Police pulled in and knocked on their doors. They referred to the situation as: "The Black Raven has arrived."
We are living in dangerous times.

I’m just curious why this prisoner wrote The Gateway Pundit instead of communicating through his attorney? TGP links to a copy of the letter from the attorneys in August. Why wouldn’t they have some type of original communication they could provide to support their claim of receiving this letter?
These people deserve justice and deserve it quickly, but something about this doesn’t pass the smell test.

FFS, this is like the old Eastern Bloc. Mafia bosses get treated more gently.
Many of the Jan. 6 people were simply denied bail by the judges on their cases. Happens all the time in this country. They have ongoing legal cases making their way through the very slow legal process.

Sitting in solitary confinement for 6 months without charges is not common place. It’s bail, charges, or let them go under the Constitution.
