I’ll do it. Long time lurker, since around 2003, very limited post history to be used against me. While I’m not a Trump worshipper, I did vote for him and very much supported his America First views. I’m 49, and politically lean towards the likes of Reagan, Pat Buchanan. Raised two normal kids, one a blue collar plumber and one a college educated medical care worker. Both understand the value of hard work to get where you need to go in life and it’s not governments job to support you. I’m not OT rich but have been successful in my career and live comfortably. I’m Christian, and love the outdoors. I believe we should care for our environment with common sense but not stupid enough to think that climate change is anything more than global wealth distribution. I’m pro 2A, pro life, pro US energy independence, pro build a wall. You know…all that good MAGA stuff Trump had going. But mainly because I just had my first grandchild a couple years ago and it causes me physical pain to think about the world he will have to grow up in unless we take a stand.

I will do it. I wont be writing a bunch of bills but I will vote like I am a more conservative Trump.
I can't be bribed, hate lobbyist, hunt fish, formally watched sports (before 2020) believe in God and the constitution... how it was written, not how they interpret it.

I've been researching running for my district, US Congress for Texas 33rd District. Waiting to see if the redrawing of districts due to adding to seats will affect me.

I would have to wait until Julia Letlow's term ends unfortunately. We might not have a country by then. I think about running against Malinda White every day, but I don't get enough vacation time from work to be able to attend the legislative session.
