I voted for him twice, but I would have liked another option. He is childish, boorish, petty, pedantic, unpresidential…

I liked many things about him, but wish it came in a different package.

Of course you do. Humans are emotional creatures. That gets back to my robot comment. The vast majority of people don’t want to remove emotion and personality from this decision. You can say they are wrong, but it isn’t going to change anything.

This ^^^ is why this nation is floundering, there is a lack of serious critical thinking....thank you for helping to illustrate my observations.

Soyboys #1 complaint.

There are these irrational beings called women. You may not like it and I may not like it, but they are probably needed to win elections and certain behavior is needed to win them over. The beautiful orange man is probably not that guy. It's possible the people I'm around on a day-to-day basis are not representative of the population as a whole, but I don't think so.

He's a narcissist, but then again, every single person in DC is as well.

Because he’s an outsider. They have spent their entire career in politics only to have an outsider to come in and be President and it irks them. They are doing everything possible to make it unattractive for any outsider considering it.

Trump also did more in his first 2 years than most can accomplish in 4. It’s made many politicians look bad

Uhhh, yeah, every America First patriot wants someone with Trump's America First passion but without the drama.....so far no takers.

So you’d rather curse the darkness than light a candle? As I said previously, it is the candidate’s job to present himself in an attractive package. Trump refused/refuses to do that.

I’m old enough to remember Nixon, Reagan Bush, Bush and Trump.

It’s the same deal every time. The media are ruthless in their coverage of GOP Presidents. The progressives eat that up and make their hatred personal by attaching some statement or policy to whatever their particular grievance (race, gender, sexuality, abortion…whatever) happens to be. They make it a personal hatred.

The difference with Trump is that he was the only one willing to fight back against the lies. He wouldn’t just take the abuse like all the others have done. That’s unacceptable to progressives which made a war.

I listen to the candidates policies and ideas for making this nation prosperous, strong and safe.....I think Trump's four years as president were very successful in that regard. If not for black swan event known as the COVID19 pandemic and the efforts of a partisan and corrupt media to pin it all on Trump he would still be president and it's highly likely we're not dealing with the current shite show and potential economic and financial collapse in America.

ut if you're more a centrist or decidedly on the right what's your reason?

What I have seen here:

- Mean tweets.

- Hate him for calling out his own party that refused to do the job they rode to DC on. They could no longer blame the DEMS and some refused to look at the congressman as the reason. Paul Ryan.. Wall.. etc etc. My favorite lately is McCain and ACA. It is all Trump's fault.

- Others are Cheap product supporters. These people were vocal during the 2016 primaries. They hated Trump because he threatened to end trade as we know it.

- The last group I have seen on here are the ones that want somebody to just dig a hole and put their heads back in it. They want to "turn the page" because if things could just go back to the way it was.... This group are the people who don;t want to face reality and hate Trump because he exposed it.

What?

That's what most GOPEs have done. Present to you an attractive candle and then Go to DC and continue the path we were on.

The only way to win a war is to fight back.

And they hated it when we dared to stand up and be heard. Now the RINOs want you back in your seats.
