Delta is the biggest employer in Georgia. What happens to those jobs if the leave? The taxes and fees generated.

The city of Atlanta gets hurt badly, a disproportionate number of blacks lose jobs, and it’s all Stacey Abrams fault for lying about the Georgia bill

I say do it. Delta ain't leaving Atlanta neither will Coca Cola. Wally Mart won't leave Arky neither will Tyson. Dell would be hard pressed to find a netter place than Austin. So call their bluff.

It certainly wouldn't help but Rig made a solid regarding the mount of HQ employees that leave compared to those that will still service the Atlanta hub (mechanics, flight attendants.pilots)

Now if we're talking Hartsfield and crooked COA politicians its a different deal all together.

Yea,good luck with starting an airline from scratch that employees 30,000 people with mostly good paying jobs and the tax base it creates.

If the leftists succeed and we go full socialist, this kinda becomes a moot point doesn’t it?

I agree. Let big corporations leave

I avoid the big stores when I can. Love my local pharmacy, hardware store, and restaurants! I will pay more to support these people as I see it as an investment in the community.

I think private airlines will be around for quite some time.

Restaurants, absolutely.

Pharmacy and hardware store? I want to. But the ones around here basically work bankers hours.

If this is what it takes to set off the next Great Migration I’m here for it. I’m tired of living with people that vote against their own prosperity.

Speak for yourself and judging by the amount of OD's,addiction, unemployment and broken families in rural US,it doesnt seem like the folks are doing "just fine"

Good post. It’s time to curb the unbridled greed of Republicans at all levels who are selling out their constituents for the almighty dollar. There must be a limit.

I would like to point out that Edna, Texas, is loaded with illegals (another group that Republican business people are pandering to in the chase of a dollar).

Because Monroe, Louisiana was too small.

Fun fact, look it up!

This is what I was responding to:

quote:

They can't be allowed to dictate politics

So I don't think they're "dictating" my politics and BTW big Corporation's have been helping to "run things" in this country for a long, long time. They just kept their nose out of social issues up until the last 20 years or so.

You don’t know what we’re like, what our world is like, or what we value. Or even how we lived, even just thirty years ago.
