He's had remarkable accomplishments in business but I don't know that he should be celebrated as a hero. I'm 50/50 on him. You'd be naive to think he doesn't have some self serving interests cozying up to Trump.

Like losing almost a 3rd of his net worth?
Trump is the only president ever to lose personal wealth while in office and Elon is losing billions. That makes them the most patriotic to exist in DC in generations in my opinion. They’re the only ones actually willing to sacrifice anything for this country

However, he has a great mind, is pragmatic and is able to spot potential markets. With his wealth, that potential can often become reality.
