Dude, algae comes from rain and sun and nutrients. The reflecting pool is not chlorinated and filtered. Republicans can have all the hallucinations they want about “sabotage,” and “democrats that control algae,” but algae is a natural thing that grows in stagnant water exposed to rain and sun.

There was an actual "Pro-Algae" protest at the reflecting pool yesterday. Not kidding.

Whether the water is clear, or full of algae, it still reflects very well. Democrats would be wise to stare into that pool for a while and do some soul searching.

If you don't like the president, then cool story. But protesting and losing your shite over repairing the reflecting pool or having a UFC event at the White House is precisely the kind of thing that drives true independents away from Democrats. At least if DEI policies, high taxes, packing the SCOTUS, and gun laws didn't already drive them away. The point is that bitching about the reflecting pool and the UFC is a losing battle.
