Like I said in the other thread. Someone needs to pay her to go away. Trump made a huge mistake showing her a little attention, and now she's bat shite crazy and will act like the moron she is. This tweet is pure leftist, Marxist talking points. We found out during covid what happens when you give away a bunch of money. Nobody wants to work, so the ones that DO want to work demand and get a higher salary. And prices on everything goes up. How hard is it for these people to see that businesses won't treat labor as a sunk cost. It is passed directly to consumers. In the form of higher prices on goods and services. So, you're no better off. You may get more money, but everything costs more. So your buying power is the same or less

Drive a lesser car...carry a lesser phone....cook your own meals...vacation in driving distance...get another job..
70k goes a long way if you don't live like you make 200k and think you deserve to START where your parents ENDED UP.
It's that simple, and thats how it used to be before everyone expected equality and equity....

In a two-income household, $70k for one spouse should be more than fine.

If you're in your early 20s, you need to work 80hrs a week. The frick you gonna do with that extra energy? Be useful? You ain't usefull till you're past 27 years old. But if you want to get ahead AND travel to Europe? Both can't happen.

I don’t know how someone with 3 kids could do it.

But that’s plenty for a baw not living in an expensive city and drives a reasonable vehicle. No cybertruck.

I think the point people are missing is that you dont become an engineer to just get by.

The profession is being destroyed

Household income of $70k with a family is technically doable but the vast majority of people would not tolerate the living standards necessary. Small shotgun home in a rural area, public schooling would be a must for the kids. Rice, beans and whatever protein was on sale. One shite box car for the family to share. The social media projected standard of living taking vacations, having nice cars living in a 2500 sq foot suburban cookie cutter takes closer to $200k these days to realistically afford.

i make about $70k roughly every 6-8 weeks ...i can't fathom how people can live off 70k for an entire year.

You can certainly tell who lives or grew up rural vs city in this thread. Same ppl claiming lots of money are the same ones who complain on the OTL about trash in their neighborhoods with their McMansion

Loomer has to live in Austin because she wouldn’t be welcome elsewhere.

Bingo.

Who wants to spend $200k in education to "get by"?

You seem out of touch, friend.

And who care what random people tweet? Stop scrolling look for reasons to be outraged.

Not outraged by this. Just don't give a crap how much it takes for others to get by,

Can't afford diapers? Quit screwing.

Your problems are not mine.

Loomer is a nut, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
