Zach Newman was trying to get into the actual patriot side of the protest. And if he could’ve got in, why wouldn’t they have also let in his security?

I still think the shooter drew and fired fully expecting the deceased to also have been drawing and firing, or at least attempting to.
But now it’s starting to look like they actually did intend to bait him just to shoot him for a photo op. He just didn’t take the bait and turned them into murderers. Hence the “oops” look on the shooters face.

Ding, ding, ding. That was my first thought. Not going to be surprised at all if it is. If the shooter and Black Guns Matter guy both worked there they would likely have a prior relationship. If they did, BGM may have been a spotter, picking their mark. Seems crazy but it could be.
