9 news still has the pinkerton story up on their website.

I’ll admit I didn’t even know Pinkertons were still a thing but you’d think if he wasn’t one they’d want to distance themselves from this ASAP. It seems pretty clear he wasn’t unless they hire unlicensed people.

Can’t find Pinkerton on twitter to see if they said anything.

I have not seen anything anywhere yet from them.

Dolloff Arms LLC has an issue.

All of them are going to have problems as 9 News claims they hired this guy through Pinkerton and have yet to retract their statement. I would also think that if Pinkerton were totally in the clear on this that they would have already released a statement if Dollof was not an employee.

Did he have a concealed carry license?
Going to go out on an easy limb here and say he didn't have shite. I could have called the "no security guard license" on page 1 and there's No. fricking. Way. a company like Pinkerton would have this guy on the payroll without a copy and proof of license.
As I said in my 2nd post on this topic, dude was straight up Antifa looking for a reason to shoot.

Slowed it down a bit

I still don’t get why he didn’t brandish his weapon and use the threat of force as a deterrent.

That isn't legal in some states, not sure about Colorado. Brandishing is considered an armed threat.

The victim is still alive and he’s not going down for murder. If he truly felt the in fear of his life it appears he could’ve at least issued a verbal warning or a warning shot.

ETA: He is going down for murder. The only question is to what degree.

No such thing as a warning shot. Civilian and military are entirely different.

Yeah I suppose I’m looking at this from a military perspective but any kind of deescalation of force training or school of thought isn’t gonna give that shoot a pass imo.

Sounds pretty plausible. Then when he got slapped he got pissed and figured he'd just kill the guy.

They’re trying to figure out how many people get fired, who lied, what can they say that straddles journalistic integrity and legal liability. They’re likely fricked both ways.
