The media hasn’t said this because they know it’s not a collusion trial. But the way they’ve implied and covered it was designed to make people think it is.
I posted yesterday that if Manafort gets off the media is going to react by saying “this wasn’t a collusion trial so this doesn’t mean anything” after spending the last few months acting like it was a collusion trial.

I’ve already pointed out that it’s just as much of a possibilit that unhinged right wingers and some Trump supporters have made “threats” rather than the left. They think this trial is a sham and don’t want a jury to reach a verdict that challenges that belief.

Why? This judge has been painted as hostile towards the whole Mueller investigation (based on his own comments), so the hostility probably is not coming from right wingers
Plus, the acyual cases of violence and intimidation have almost all come from left leaning folks

I think it's reasonable to view the media wanting to publish their names as a threat. Are there actually people who support the idea of publishing these folks names?
