No, it’s not. There’s clear linkage between aggressive behavior and long-term cannabis usage. All the “let me smoke my pot cuz I’m Libertarian” people don’t want to admit it. But it’s still there.

What’s the linkage between alcohol use and behavior? Short and long term? Is it better or worse than marijuana?

Start a thread.

The whole concept of attacking another drug or alcohol to defend a different one does not justify nor remove medical facts of the one being talked about and it is a flawed argument.

Maybe, just maybe it's not the weed and these individuals are predisposition to act this way with or without the weed. You can correlate any substance abuse that a psycho was using to their actions, but maybe, just maybe they were a psycho with or without the substance.

I have indulged in smoking marijuana for over 50 years. I have yet to have the urge to kill anyone while I was stoned. Are these studies over doping people purposefully to cause the wanted outcomes?

She said that studies show, and she cited which studies they were, claimed that teens who used weed were more likely to have the need to be prescribed anti-depressants than those who didn't.

Several issues here.

1- The OP tried to link Ingram to pot and killing. Several have pointed out, that's not what she stated.

2- You are you. You may not be the guy with the AKT1 gene... or catechol-O-methyltransferase.

3- Nowhere has it been suggested that every person will develop psychosis.

The studies are the result of the new issues happening. What's being seen in the field.

tucker clearly showed the scientific evidence that proves over prescribing kids anti-depressants is what is causing them to act out violently and killing poeople.

Maybe that wackjob Tom Cruise was right about anti-depressants.

I reread a longitudinal study yesterday that tried to account for this very obvious point. I’ll see if I can find it again.

exactly this ^^^^^^^

people who are psychotic often smoke weed to drug themselves into being nonaggressive. the idiots here think its the weed that causing them to be that way, when inn truth its what they use so they dont go kill people.

a psycho killer is often found to be using many different things to try and maintain the illusion of being in control but at the end of the day those arent the root cause of the mental issues, they are just tools the mentally ill use to cope with wanting to kill.

Her guest, Alex berenson, said we need more data. I agree with that. There is little doubt that Big Cannabis would like to suppress any negative information related to marijuana sales to young people. They’re making bank nowadays.

Alcohol is cleared from your system faster and is water soluble. THC is fat soluble. In drug testing they can pick up weed usage for weeks not so with alcohol.

And I can boot up some ICE and piss clean in a few days, whats the point?

I don't think anyone is arguing that marijuana drives 100% of its users to violence.

Alex Berenson, who's been far more right than wrong on Covid, wrote a book about the this topic and concluded there's more danger with regular marijuana use than we're led to believe.

And she used to be right at the top of my list of MILFs. Still bet it's good though. I envy her live in cameraman.
