Sadly, NOLA is a federal city living off federal money and big business kickbacks that just want to drop their stuff at the port and truck it in and out. Basically, third world.

The taxpaying citizens don't see a dime of that so-called federal money.

I'd estimate roughly 30% (high end)

The main idea is let these politicians know we will remove them from office. They need to be scared of their consitutients again. This is why I support bringing back tar and feathering

It would be a shame to lose this effort with so few to go

What's really sad is NOLA pays more to the state than it receives back in investment.

Hell, the whole state of Louisiana is a welfare state.

Believe me, this is one of the most frustrating things of all. Completely inept leadership governing equally apathetic voters.

I fully expect her to defeat the recall vote.

Oliver has already tried out the prison thing. Maybe he didn't like it?

LaToya won't be recalled. Valiant effort but the political machine continues to turn. There's no major opposition and no voter base to enact change.

Where were all these people the past two elections?

No matter how many signatures you get on the recall petition it doesn't matter. They will throw out enough signatures to make it fail.

City is done. Think about it. That low intelligence grifter from Cali was elected twice.

I hear people talking about Moreno, a woke progressive. No black voter is going to vote for a white woman over a black candidate. New Orleans will never have anything other than a black mayor, barring another Katrina.

It doesn't matter. She will just be replaced by some other a-hole. It's not like New Orleans has depth in the conservative politician game.
