How the hell would he even be able to provide/find staffing for that many vent patients?

Didn't Edwards announce his "stay at home" order last Sunday, to go into effect at 5:00pm on Monday? LaToya announced her order at 5:00pm on Friday the 22nd. I can't remember when it went into effect.
My point is, I think it's only been ONE week. Or maybe I've just really lost track of time ... and that's a very real possibility.

All of these governors begging for Vents are doing so with one goal in mind:
Ask for way more than is needed and realistically supplied so that when things go South, you can blame the feds for your incompetence and the consequences of your poor leadership.
In the end, people are covering their own asses instead of helping to save their people's asses from dying.
