I just looked it up. She said it in June of 2020 and it got very little attention except a few random articles.

Just share it on Facebook. I'm sure it will be fact checked.

Latinos are NOT black...otherwise, the Rio Grande would be an effective barrier to stop illegal immigration:

"Wait...we have to SWIM to the U.S.? frick that, I'm going back home!"

I was going to say it but...muh privilege denies me that privilege.

No shite. Blacks in Miami have been at odds with Cubans for almost 60 years since they fled Cuba, settled in Miami and seized political power. Cubans also have their own slang version of the "N-word" - "Prieto". AOC is hitching her wagon to the wrong movement.

An actual Cuban who remained on the Island & fought for it.

If so then add them to the black crime stats and take them off the white ledger.

Miami? Aren't the inner tubers Americans now ? Cubans like Fidel had no serious issue with it when he acknowledged " African blood flows through our veins".

From Wikipedia:

quote:

Slavery in Latin America was an economic and social institution which existed in Latin America from before the colonial era until its legal abolition in the newly independent states during the 19th century, although it continued illegally in some regions into the 20th century. Slavery in Latin America began in the precolonial period, when indigenous civilizations including the Maya and Aztec enslaved captives taken in war.

That'll muddy up the reparations!

Let’s not forget the elephant in the room that in reality Hispanics and blacks despise each other

Friend of mine owns a brick mason company. The crews will not work together. He cant even have a hispanic laborer bring bricks to the black masons. They will throw the bricks at him until he leaves.

Crazy shite. He builds a lot of houses in a couple of booming new neighborhoods. Might have a black crew at one house and a hispanic crew next door. They cant even share the sand pile.

There are blacks in Cuba just as there are in Haiti, Dominican Republic and just about every Latin American country.

It has never made any sense for the US government to try to classify latino( slang for Latin American) or hispanic(a person who speaks spanish) as a race of people.

Hell Napoleon called French colonies Latin America.

AOC isn't liked as is around the pro Black community. I'm not talking about the BLM crowd because pro Blacks can't stand BLM. Pro Blacks already believe AOC is controlled opposition who exploits Blacks and wants to take from any reparations payment and give that money to Latinos. Her comment here is no surprise to pro Blacks because AOC has said similar things in the past.
