Another huge reason why Russia will break up at the end of this war. All of these war crimes and crimes against humanity and the financial claims imposed thereof could be minimized by the new countries. Ukraine must file these charges now in order to prevent jurisdictional avoidance after the breakup.

As the ICC doesn't want to see the European countries pay for Ukraine's post war recovery, a legal requirement to funnel all energy payments to former Russian States through Den Hague first will be established for all European markets.

Hell, Tiger has posted about Russia targeting women, children, and old people for literally years now and people still get mad at him for posting it. We should have made an example of the Russians when they dared to invade in 2022, but, whatever, I guess now some of ya'll are going to cry about it now that it's clear the Russians are losing.

Maybe you should take it up with international humanitarian law then if you think that take is interesting, because those laws agree with me.

Power generation legally can be a target if it supports military infrastructure and even if it doesnt under some circumstances because power isn't necessary for human survival.

Water is necessary and basically the only time it's permitted is if a plant was used for military purposes itself.

Same deal with sewer plants. The "essential for survival" point is replaced with "prevent biological incidents".

Not to mention power plants are relatively easy to get back online compared to say if a BTU was hit at a sewer plant or if a pump house or aerator got hit at a water plant. Under good conditions those can take months to repair.

Having a job is hard, son. One day, hopefully, you'll have one too.
