Now known universally as the "Moscow cap".

A hundred crazed teenagers raided the "Pyaterochka" stores in Yekaterinburg. The schoolkids looted five stores, grabbing everything they could.
The zoomers stole goods worth 50 thousand rubles. After the raid, the crowd ran into the nearest residential complex and tried to attack the security guard, who had to defend himself with pepper spray.

Honestly no big deal. Just a typical incident for most American cities. Russia the so-called guardian of Western civ is fitting right in.

Sounds like Russia needs to start a few midnight basketball leagues

Desperate move in desperate times. Won't help a bit.

“Wow” is right. 3 + years later Russia is finally into a small town you’ve never heard of. 3 day Special military operation is great success !

Another huge breakthrough. If seems like it was only six months or so that Russia took half of the town.

you'll have people pretend Ukraine still controls it months from now like they did with Pokrovsk
To be fair, it will likely take Russia months to finish taking Kostaintynivka.
And it will likely be the last city that Russia conquers in this war, which I now believe is heading to a conclusion by late fall.

Disagree. Sloviansk and Kramatorsk are pretty much baked in now.

Dude, you shouldn't get all your news from Russian propaganda. Russia is losing ground in Lyman, and they couldn't even approach Sloviansk even when they had Lyman.
It's hard to know which is the greater strategic threat to Russia:
- The long-range strike campaign that's creating gas lines and fuel rationing across Russia (which will likely get much worse)
or
- The mid-range strike campaign that's crippling Russian logistics and isolating Crimea.
Both of these Ukrainian campaigns are close to getting critical for Russia. Simply put, frontline movement now favors Ukraine overall, and the twin Ukrainian campaigns will make the war impossible for Russia to continue.
Putin will decide to seek a ceasefire before the year is out.

Russian tactics are to send a 3 man team to get into a position then geotag a photo to say they've taken it. Then they let the team or whatever is left of it to whither on the vine.
Makes for good fake mapping.

The analysis also identifies damage to 6 fuel tanks and notes that some drone impacts on protective cables caused fires not visible in satellite imagery.
The nearby Sadovod shopping center that was hit but the falling drone is very popular with the immigrant population of Moscow. Ethnic groceries, restaurants, etc. Thus the Russian war bloggers are celebrating this destruction and thanking the Russian AD for getting something positive done.

General Hodges coming with the truth. For the guilty Russians, a cease fire, or even peace treaty will not help. For them, this war will never end.
