Ukrain success means they should proceed without un necessary American aid. Let the euro trash back him. We got no purpose in supporting Zelinski.

Ukraine pilot blogger is joyous over the Moscow refinery being hit with huge black clouds over the city.

That flying tank roof is the icing on the cake. Horrible optics for the Russians to have this happen in Moscow but even worse for this video. It has been globally viral for 13 hours now and will join the Meme Hall of Fame.

And the night is young.

The real issue for Russia is that for the first time, the SMO is finally significantly impacting the day-to-day lives of the people of Moscow.

They have done a fair job of keeping the damage Ukraine has caused away from the lives of their "civilized" segments of the population in Saint Petersburg and Moscow. Now they have, for the first time, had to implement gas rationing in Moscow proper.

Combine the extreme thermals with lower oxygen content coming off those fires and it will get tricky for helicopters.

Once existing storage is used, over the following eight to ten weeks minimum the only vehicle fuel available in Russia's biggest city will have to be transported in long distance by truck, rail and pipeline. With all the attacks on pumping stations feeding Moscow, that will leave trucks and rail.

And it isn't going to get any better. Like a Russian economist said last week, the current Russian dilemma is like being in a disabled airplane falling from the sky with the pilot's cabin locked.

quote:

According to Reuters, Ukraine's June 16 and June 18 strikes have now knocked out both of the Moscow Oil Refinery's key crude distillation units — CDU-6 and Euro+.

Together, they account for 100% of the refinery's primary oil processing capacity, effectively shutting down crude processing at one of Russia's most important refineries.
