The owner of the oil in storage at sea is who is making bank. Russia's government not so much

Practically all crude loaded in Russian ports now are loaded FOB destination. Which means the Russian government maintains possession until delivery. This is because buyers don't want the risks of loading in Russia and the subsequent transport costs. Cargos are only sold spot market once they approach the intended destination. Buyers have all the cards.

Yes, it's good that we still have you around to point out that Russia is still advancing on some fronts, even if it is now losing ground on others.

I am not aware that Russia is losing ground on any front in the annexed territories. I could be be wrong. I do not believe Russia ever intended to hold Dnipropetrovsk long-term. Dnipropetrovsk was a supporting effort to take Hulyaipole which was accomplished. That is what I believe. Again, perhaps I am wrong. I welcome contrary evidence. I am a reasonable person who is only interested in uncovering the truth.

Well one of the sources you used to demonstrate Russian gains says otherwise. Ukraine has regained territory.

You won't find the Ukrainian advances on RUSSIAN maps.

Dude when you stopped posting your Russian maps at the same time Ukraine began to gain ground, some were wondering if you were KIA at the front.

You were suddenly absent with your daily Russian maps when Ukraine started advancing. Russia makes a tiny advance and viola you return

I was suddenly absent on Ash Wednesday. I gave up this retarded forum for lent. Unfortunately I gave in to temptation today and for my penance I am now being assaulted by your idiotic posts.

The photograph likely shows the Project 23550 patrol icebreaker "Dzerzhinsky," the completion of which was planned to be transferred to the Admiralty Shipyards of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).

Previously, the Admiralty Shipyards of the USC were considered a site for completing the construction of the Project 23550 patrol icebreaker “Dzerzhinsky,” which is currently under construction at the Vyborg Shipyard for the Border Guard Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation.

Vyborg is north of St. Petersburg, close to the Primorsk petroleum loading ports hit Sunday. Russians may be playing a shell game with their remaining air defense units. It's clear that this Primorsk area was lightly defended.

Inside Rosneft’s Secret Drone Defense Blueprint: How Russia’s Oil Giant Plans to Shield Its Refineries – and Why It Will Fail
quote:

Dallas [an interesting private intelligence and analytics site focused on Russia] has obtained a confidential 21-page report outlining the “Systems to protect against the unauthorised use of UAVs at the Company’s sites” — another example of Kremlin-approved newspeak. This language serves a political function — it allows Russian state companies to address a wartime vulnerability through the framework of industrial safety regulation.
quote:

The document lays bare the full scope of Rosneft’s physical defence strategy against Ukrainian drone strikes: the threat models it fears, the improvised barriers it proposes, the structural limitations it quietly admits, and the organisational measures it recommends. Following two years of escalating attacks, the presentation reveals a company scrambling to protect facilities worth billions with scaffolding, shipping containers, and steel cables — while ultimately conceding a stark reality: “Physical protection is a set of structural measures that do not guarantee the safety of protected objects. Solutions do not exclude blast load and shrapnel impact.”

Hmmm, I think we see the weak spot...

quote:

The leaked report is both a confession and a roadmap — a confession that Russia cannot protect its energy infrastructure, and a roadmap for those seeking the highest-value targets at any refinery: distillation towers, catalytic cracking columns, and reformers. The technical specifics it contains are of direct operational value. For example, the document effectively advertises the exact gap dimensions an attacking drone must fit through to bypass the outer cable defences.

As pointed out, this report may be of interest to the Persian Gulf countries now as well.

The deal is expected to be formally announced by Ukraine and the U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC) that jointly created the fund with Kyiv this week, a source said. The DFC is currently in Kyiv to discuss the fund with its Ukrainian counterparts.

The minerals deal was contentious from the outset, after U.S. President Donald Trump proposed using Ukraine’s "rare earth" resources as repayment for U.S. military aid. Early drafts, leaked to the press, drew sharp criticism and raised concerns that Washington was seeking unprecedented control over Ukraine’s critical minerals.

Ukrainian officials pushed back, and the deal was ultimately reshaped into a first-of-its-kind arrangement. It is now a jointly managed, private equity–style fund between two sovereign nations targeting strategic sectors such as technology, energy, and minerals, a senior U.S. official said in Kyiv in January.

Since a portal went live earlier this year to accept applications, over 130 projects have been submitted to the fund.

For the first ten years, all profits from the fund will be reinvested in Ukraine's economy, with Kyiv and Washington allocating $75 million each in seed capital last September.
