Is there a specific reason he continually calls you a drunk and posts about your kids here?

If anything, he may need a timeout again for violating site rules. I will monitor moving forward.

Please cite the board guideline I’ve violated. Thanks.

My ex-wife had an uncle like that. He would argue about anything. Once he was losing an argument badly so I told him that black pepper doesn't digest so he started telling his brother in law that black pepper doesn't digest, to try to one up the other brother in law.

Trump being played by Putin again. The US being played by Putin thanks to Mr. Trump. It’s like clockwork and Putin will end up getting what he wants too. But I just don’t understand Trump here. He says he just wants peace, but he’s negotiating and trusting the man who caused all of this to happen in the first place. He believes the words coming out of a bloodthirsty warmonger, but doesn’t believe the words coming out of his own people/allies. I just don’t get it.

I always thought the Tomahawk thing was an empty threat. And one Putin could easily see through.

We only ever made 4000 of them. And we've fired hundreds of those. And the replacement for them has just gone into production. And most of them are designed to be fired from sea based systems. . It's not like we could have just given them 1000 of them overnight.

I honestly have no idea what the point was of getting Zhelensky to Washington and then Trump meeting Putin in the next two weeks? . I think Trump juat likes being in the spotlight.

Neither side is budging. Ukraine will get the weapons it needs to keep Russia at bay for the foreseeable future.

The one who has the leverage here is China. They are keeping the Russian war machine afloat with money and hardware. Soon Putin will learn what this lifeline will really cost him. But probably not until the price is too steep for him to pay.

China playing the long game to perfection.

10 Tomahawks would do enough damage to the Shahed drone factory and the remaining Russian bomber fleet.

I had some beers on a CFB Saturday and misremembered the details of a quote and admitted such (because I will admit when I'm wrong unlike some posters), so that's his go-to attack now because he can't win an actual argument with me.

Eh I don't think so, he's just a piece of shite person and not at all intelligent, and that's not against the rules.

There's an article in Popular Mechanics this morning that says the Flamingo carries a bigger payload and further than Tomahawk. And Ukraine will be making 7 per day by the end of the year.

As of April 2025, 2,000 Tomahawks were set to be retired due age.

LINK

This seems to be where Trump got the "We're sending 2,000 Tomahawks to Ukraine then Putin requested a meeting.

Another wrinkle no one seems to be considering is that Ivanka supports Ukraine.

Her husband, Jared Kushner, orchestrated Arab investment into Israel's defense industry, over the last several years. Qatar, UAE and SA are invested in Israel. This is at least part of the reason the rest of the Arab world has abandoned Gaza.

Besides partnerships with European defense industry, how much of such investment is behind the Ukrainian defense industry R&D?

So in that scenario your advice is to stop fighting?

No... the reasons the Arab world have abandoned Gaza are:

3) Shi'ite Iran... enemy number one, who started funding Hamas and Hezbollah... which makes it even more obvious that:

2) Israel is now viewed as a stable and dependable neighbor, who does not start shite with you of you don't start shite with it... they're (compared to Iran) sane with understandable goals and objectives, and easy to co-exist with... and on a generational level there's been a shift because:

1) In reality, the rest of the Arab world NEVER gave a shite about the Palestinians... they were just a pawn because older Arabs would not/could not accept the idea of a Jewish state in the region. Those leaders have all either died off or are close and have waning influence... and younger Arab leaders give even less of a shite about Palestinians, but... see number 1 and 2 again.

Well, then that will be a game-changer... I wonder how Putin will get Trump to get them to stop that?

No, but you should also be self aware of your position if there is a potential out via negotiation.

I don't believe Zelensky is self aware.

Don't believe Putin is either.
