Wrong General Bill.
Don't you understand! Florian Philippot said that Zelensky is trying to avoid peace talks -- that settles it. (Nevermind how absurdly incorrect this turned out to be, as everyone knows who ultimately refused to negotiate for peace).
It starts at the bottom of this page and then continues on the next one. Just hilarious. Folks, if Florian Philippot tells you what Zelensky's motives are, you don't argue -- he's the ultimate expert.

Payments to Contract Soldiers Sharply Reduced in Four Regions of Russia
In Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Mari El, and Belgorod Oblast, one-time payments for citizens who sign a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry to participate in the war against Ukraine have been reduced.
In Tatarstan, the amount has been reduced from RUB 3.1 million to 800 thousand, Kommersant reports. This is almost four times less, which significantly reduces the financial motivation for potential combatants.
In Chuvashia, payments were reduced from RUB 2.5 million to 800 thousand. In Mari El – from 3 million to the same amount. In the Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine, they now offer only RUB 500 thousand instead of the previous 800 thousand.
According to the analytical project Re: Russia, in the first half of 2025, federal and regional authorities spent more than RUB 2 trillion on recruiting and supporting the military.
Of this amount, about RUB 400 billion were spent on contract bonuses, 865 billion on salaries, and another 765 billion on compensation to the families of the dead and wounded.
Despite these costs, the number of people willing to serve is declining. According to Vazhnye Istorii, from April to June 2025, only 37.9 thousand people signed a contract, the lowest number in two years. For comparison, in the second quarter of 2024, the number was 92,800.
In the first half of 2025, 127,500 contractors received payments. A year ago – 166.2 thousand. This indicates a decline in the effectiveness of financial incentives that were previously actively used for mobilization.

Colombian mercs in Ukraine are like monkeys without a banana.
Early on I kept seeing alot of Colombians fighting in Ukraine. I thought that is strange, why the hell would Columbians go to Ukraine to fight?
That is almost as odd as LeeB actually going to man the trenches in Lithuania.
Then I started seeing reports of many of the Colombians being sent by the drug lords/cartels to learn to operate the weapon systems.
Haven't they been credible reports of weapons systems sent to Ukraine showing up in Cartel hands? Especially surface to air weapons.

Poland offers help as Ukraine reels from Russian attacks on energy infrastructure
WARSAW (Reuters) -Generators, extra electricity supplies and an LNG terminal are at Ukraine's disposal, Polish foreign minister Radoslaw Sikorski said on Friday, as Russia continues to attack Kyiv's energy infrastructure.
Moscow has intensified its assaults in recent weeks. Early on Friday, large parts of Kyiv were plunged into darkness and around 600,000 households were temporarily without power across Ukraine after Russian strikes.
Sikorski, visiting Lviv in western Ukraine, said Poland was discussing how to support its eastern neighbour.
"Generators, extra electricity supplies, accelerated construction of power connections between Ukraine and Poland, and of course, our LNG terminal in Swinoujscie is at your disposal," he said during a press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart.
"This is another escalation, because we know why it's being carried out. It's meant to intimidate people ahead of winter," he added.
In August, Polish refiner Orlen said it aimed to keep supplying 100 million cubic metres (mcm) of gas every month to Ukraine after having already delivered 430 mcm this year.
The liquefied fuel is imported from the United States to the terminal in Swinoujscie and shipped across Poland to Ukraine.

I doubt cartel beefs are going to be advertised for Western consumption right away. I don't doubt that they likely bought containers from Ukros full RPG heads, blasting caps, m67s and M203 40mm grenades via black market funnel out from Romania/Moldova.
I mostly think Colombians actually went there to get paid as mercenaries not realizing how short sighted, broke and deceptive Ukrainians are. They are 100% getting stiffed on pay and being used as fodder so they definitely don't have to pay them.
Hypothetically if we assume that rumor is true about cartels sending there to learn, we can thankful they're stupid enough to not realize that you can learn everything "Ukrainians can teach" about drones by watching hobbyist drone/RC videos. Rigging and FPV with an RPG head is as simple as attaching a battery with one wire going to the blasting cap and another end going to a coiled tounges in front of it which when drone impacts something close a circuit and send a short to the blasting cap that's inside of the an RPG/charge. Using retransmitters for longer range and using spotter drone to help FPV time the attack, it's just common sense hobbyist shite.
All of which btw, spells awful news for big commercial MICs because their market share of close range and mid range high end delivery systems for both anti-armor and personnel will be shrunk by this very basic consumer level adaptation of hobbyist drones.

They will end up all over the world eventually. Both because with any war you have those who will skim off the top to earn some extra scratch, and because Ukraine on the global scale is one of the more corrupt places on earth. Ironically it's probably less corrupt today because of more oversight than it was before 2022.

frick, I forgot about all the MANPADs and handheld surface to air shite they most definitely got.

Yes, that's what I said earlier -- Ukraine's loss of domestic natural gas facilities isn't a very big deal. Europe will just buy American natural gas (with Russian money).

Even you don't believe it. Ukros steal their own funding for fortification, drones, weapons, aid money in a what they claim to be an "existential war". What's more corrupt than that?
Granted some of them already know they lost, but in 2022-23 during peak cope offensive they didn't believe defeat was imminent and were thieving donations and funding even then, which cost lives for their side.

He definitely had a psychotic episode where he lost contact with reality and became immersed in a false, delusional world of NAFO Troll Propaganda. As soon as I showed up and started debunking the Propaganda and started posting the reality of the situation he literally snapped and could not handle the truth being posted. GOP_TIGER was so bad off he literally left the thread because his NAFO Troll propagandized brain could not handle the Truth.

Kiev Mayor Klitschko: I am addressing the residents of Kiev: stock up on water, prepare a first-aid kit, gather food supplies, charge your backup power devices. Prepare warm clothing.
Lvov Mayor Sadovyi: We are returning to a time when having a small stove ("burzhuika") in the basement is essential. The city will not be able to provide heating in the coming weeks.

Kyiv mayor warns of new Russian attack and urges residents to stock up on water and charge devices
STANISLAV POHORILOV — 10 October, 17:36
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko has said that a new Russian attack is expected in the coming days and has urged residents of the capital to prepare by stocking up on water and food, charging devices, and gathering warm clothes.
Source: Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko
Quote: "The situation is difficult, and we must speak honestly rather than reassure ourselves. The enemy does not stop. A new attack is forecasted in the coming days.
I call on Kyiv residents to stay focused and act pragmatically. Stock up on water, prepare a first-aid kit and food supplies, charge your power banks, and get warm clothes ready. Do not ignore air-raid warnings."
Details: Klitschko said Kyiv had endured one of the most damaging attacks to date.
Since the early morning of 10 October, all municipal services have been working to deal with the aftermath.
Energy workers have already restored power to more than 423,000 customers.
Quote: "Work continues to reconnect all remaining households as quickly as possible."
More details: Klitschko added that the city's water supply system has been restored and is now operating normally. However, some buildings that remain without power may experience a lack of cold water on upper floors, as booster pumps are not working properly.
Quote: "All city services are working around the clock in emergency mode to restore stable operation of Kyiv's essential systems. Please support them with your gratitude and by acting responsibly in regard to the potential challenges. Only by standing together can we overcome the challenges ahead."
