The coming years, but China is closed to its height. He's not the only one who is saying that its population is overcounted. He's not the only one who is saying that China wasted a shitton of money on dozens of complete cities with no one occupying them.
These dumbasses don't get that Germany has been moving manufacturing to the US and China for well over a decade. Mercedes are built in Alabama. The cheap NGL's feedstock in the US since 2010 or so made the US more reliable than imports from Russia and a labor force which Germany doesn't have any longer They don't even recognize that Turkish immigrants post WWII is who played a huge role in West Germany's economic growth. Far too many German males were killed in WWII for that to happen on its. own. There was a lot of disagreement on whether or not the Turks should be allowed to be become citizens in the 1970s.

I don't know enough about those specific things to know if he's right on that stuff... but he is paid to consult those corporations and the people who invest in them, so I dunno... perhaps they don't need him to know that much since they do and they need him more to tell them about demographics, history and political stuff that effects those industries. I've seen him say that when he worked at think tanks and consulting firms, he ended up being the person they would make interact with the clients and the specialists would brief him on everything and he would give summaries... because the specialists left the clients confused by being too hyper-focused on their areas of expertise and unable to communite with anybody who wasn't.
