There is no reason they hate Trump. It's irrational, illogical, emotional.

nearly all voters vote based on emotion. this topic arises every two years. studies show that people vote based on emotion. the ads often exploit that.

scary ads work.
LBJ ran an ad of a nuclear bomb going off in the background. in foreground is 6 yr old girl playing with flowers. we saw that ad. immediately
my mom challenged my intention to vote Goldwater.
me "I don't believe anything lbj says".
plus I had read Goldwater book and was impressed.
lbj did me a big one though.
civil rights act .
before then we jews had limited employment opportunities and were not allowed in white hotels.
we vacationed in the Catskills. it was nice being with all Jews. glass half full.

Remember the day before the 2016 Presidential election, when polls showed Hilldawg had a 99% chance of winning? I 'member.

The purpose of polls is to drive public opinion.

Obviously, since Democrats win most elections. I have never voted on emotion. I vote on political ideology and policy positions. Started when I registered to vote 50 years ago.

For every person that likes his style/personality there is another person that hates it.

I personally don't care, but I can see it turns some people off.

Brian Kemp can win re-election comfortably because he doesn't turn off the suburban college educated types like Trump does

OK, finally an answer. They hate Trump because they hate his style. Those people are stupid.
But you're wrong about why people vote for Trump. I never watched a Trump TV show because I didn't like the style. I voted for him because of his policy positions.
Now you could say I like his style of hating the press. But I consider that a policy position. It's also why I like Desantis. He hates the press, too.

I dont understand this mindset

You gleefully post a poll about your guy losing, hoping to convince me to switch to a an obvious loser. Primary and general

However, my guy has already won 3 times. Two primaries and 1 general. And came within a hair of winning re-election

And after the Dunham report, he most likely did win

How does a Republican that will struggle to win Arizona and Georgia win?

The midterms were a warning that nominating Trump will be a massive mistake

Meanwhile back at the DeSimp batcave. The headlines are eating his lunch...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis does the white thing by banning DEI funding at universities

There is no way he can get indy voters or the rustbelt. There aren't Karen's in the burbs with any sense of intelligence. But they will presume abortion will be banned nationally, and their tampons taken away with their pap smears with Ron.

So wait...

You're now making the argument that Desantis SHOULDN'T have banned DEI funding to universities because the MSM are "eating his lunch"?

Do you realize how stupid and unhinged your point is? You're actually promoting Desantis as a true conservative that is taking actual action against woke bullshite, while saying it's a bad thing because "oh the independent voters and MSM won't like this at all!"

You are truly special

Ya'll do realize whenever you pull the news article spiel-you look like sophomoric non serious groupies. While RonBots post news articles from all over MSM when it appeals to them.

Posters are responding to the article YOU posted, from a typically leftist source, to try to make a dumbass point against Desantis

Even if he wins AZ and GA, Ron still loses 277 to 261. Gotta crack the Midwest. Trump is the only Repub in decades to do well there

Romney - didnt even IA, PA, OH, WI, MI. Or Fla
McCain - didnt win IA, PA, OH, WI, MI, IN. Also lost Fla, NC
Bush II - didnt win IA, PA, WI, MI
Dole - only won IN
Bush - only won IN

Pure gas lighting. If the crooked media tells you enough times Biden will win, when he does you’ve been programmed to believe it.

Think about your everyday interactions. I don’t know 44 total people that would vote for Biden much less 44% of any group.

Get out of your bubble.

I unfortunately have to interact with a lot of Dems and independents and they universally dislike Biden but have a seething hatred for a trump that words can’t describe
