That's the trend these days.

Not bashing any particular doctors because there are great doctors who fall into these categories, but the fact that these types are over-represented by definition means that your average one will be... well, below average:
1. Ugly women who've found success in college and are great at memorizing and regurgitating (not so good at critical thinking).
2. First-generation Americans from Asia whose parents demand they become a professional, and since doctors and lawyers are at the top of their minds, and since law school generally requires a better mastery of the English language, they go into medical school. Not necessarily smarter, just better students (I liken it to the fact that being a good politician has nothing to do with being a good legislator or leader, and that's why our government sucks).
3. Quota beneficiaries. I don't need to elaborate.

Who are you to say it's a dumb view? Are you an expert on the vaccine? How do exactly avoid conversations that don't have political viewpoints. Basically everything in our lives have a political smell about it. Even sports have become politicized

A smarter response would be it's an individual choice that people should consult with their doctors about.

Calling your FIL an idiot and running to the poliboard to brag about it sounds like something a low IQ insecure poor excuse of a man would do. And everyone here knows I'm right.

I spent several hours in the emergency room of Our Lady of the Lake with a 89 year old father-in-law. He had stomach surgery a while back that didn't heal properly and has had blood in his urine. His right femur was hurting for a while so they did an MRI on his back. The MRI showed a growth on his spine. They ran tests and did x-rays and determined he has advanced prostate cancer that has advanced to his bones. With all the doctor visits he has been having, it is hard to understand why no one found the cancer. But here is the kicker. He said that he was in perfect health about 18 months prior. And I will get blasted for this because of his age. But I think the shots and boosters he took acted like kryptonite and dormant stuff exploded into activity. The ingredients in these shots destroys natural immunity and triggers any and all inflammation.

frick off, lol with the lecture from the kiddie seats. It’s not OUR generation that has destroyed critical inquiry, objective truth and the Socratic method, it is YOURS. If we had some fat blue haired bitch lecturing us we would have kidnapped her and thrown her in the nearest body of water. Allegedly.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I hope he recovers soon.

I am hearing more accounts of these types of occurrences. The shots allegedly accelerate any kind of dormant or underlying health issue - it could be related to cytokine storm associated with the mRNA response in the body after administration of the shot.

You are stuck in your ways of being old. Anyone above 35 is a gramps! Lol kidding! You’re one of the fewer mid to late 50 year olds who isn’t gun ho about vaccines and boosters that I know

For you older men on here, stop being a creature of habit, and be a creature of cognition and critical thinking.

I'm not quite "older" by your definition, but I'll stick up for my older friends. It's been my experience, in RL and even on this board, that it's the younger guys that have been more susceptible to being gasligthed/bigger pussies about Covid. Sure, today now that it's been demonstrated Covid was overhyped, everyone beats their chest about it. But back in 2020, that wasn't the case and as I recall, there was poll after poll showing it was the under 50 or under 40 crowd that led the country in support of the Covid shitshow. Just one example -

No, no you aren't.

This is an ANONYMOUS message board, moron.

NO ONE is being done any real world harm by airing this sort of dirty laundry.

Sounding off about the idiots you deal with IRL is cathartic.

Typing this sentence as some sort of affirmative, inarguabale statement is the action of a low IQ, poor excuse of a man.

Chicken has to have paid that dude minimum wage for years to come over here and try to stir the shite. I’m guessing he gets no Christmas bonus this year.

IDK. It may be that he had the same opinions when he was younger.
Ya gotta remember that if John is smarter than Bill at age 30 then John is smarter than Bill when they are 70.
The biggest difference in aging that you could call 'stuck in their ways' is actually routine. We love routine because things become automatic.
But that has nothing to do with political opinions.

It’s mind blowing. My wife’s uncle was spouting support for the OSHA EO last Christmas saying it was gonna save lives.
We called his arse out and he never said a peep again.

Sort of.

As people get older, many will stick to what they believe is the truth regardless of whether it is or not. My mother (in her 80s now) will often share false things on her Facebook. I'll privately explain how it's wrong (like Trudeau being quotes as saying we don't need farms any longer because we have grocery stores, for example) and prove it. A few months ago I was taken aback when this person who was a lifelong proponent of "hard truths" told me that she didn't care if the stuff she posted was false as long as it supported her view on a given subject.

Those who moved to echo chambers when they were younger are probably even more likely to do this (and to a deeper extent).

You must also consider the cognitive difference between men and women over time.
Women who give birth to several children suffer a significant IQ loss as 5 points comes out with the placenta each time.
I've known women in the 1970s who were very intelligent. Four kids later they are borderline retarded.
