For other comments in the thread, I voted for Vitter, and it pissed me off that some of my (Republican) friends voted for Edwards just because Vitter liked hookers.

Higgins is a fricking insane person who doesn’t pay child support and has been fired from every job he has ever had.
The district will be represented by a republican, so at least vote for a republican who isn’t batshit insane like Higgins.

I’ve been knowing angelle personally for many many years and he is the epitome of a RINO. He’s about as blue as you can get. With that being said he’s more of a true blue democrat and not in any way shape or form a raging rabid liberal. There’s a big difference between those two distinctions, in my opinion.
With that being said, angelle and darden gave the state of Louisiana jon bel edwards (unfortunately!!!!) on a silver platter and I will never forget that! Neither will many of his (angelle) constituents and former backers. I was never a fan of his because he can never keep still. He’s definitely part of the corrupt “good ol’ boy political gang” and has run for just about every office imaginable. He’s a career politician and he loves to see his name in the limelight. He also has a very big ego trip.
He’s also completely full of shite and will pander like a m’fer! His father was a staunch democrat from way back when.

He’s my favorite congressmen. I’d love to see him move on up to higher office.

This is what your representatives are supposed to do. He actually has character and does his job properly by voting on behalf of his constituents unlike 99.9% of politicians who are there to be a personality and keep collecting their government paycheck. Pretty sad that this is some crazy quality nowadays
