Cassidy will win. He is a member of the Uniparty. These parishes are just waiting to see how many votes they need to manufacture

This board is very pro Fleming, but I think this board really underestimates the Trump endorsement for letlow. Especially to people who really don’t follow politics closely.

100%

I'm still pulling for Fleming.

Letlow will change again once Trump and Landry are gone.

It really is insane to me the St. George school district vote has to be statewide. What the frick does some resident in Monroe, lake chuck, or Nola have to do with it?

Cassidy's best parish in early voting is only 40%. He's in trouble of not making run-off.

Wouldn't you rather your repair man have the parts needed to fix your shite same day instead of needing to order them?

You do realize that’s not what this is about, don’t you?

Looking at the early voting, I don't think people understood that Amendment No. 4 could lead to lower prices on goods.

Inventory tax and taxing the same store fixtures every year is F'ing stupid
writing an amendment that the majority of your constituents can't understand is 100x more fricking stupid. Blame the frick ups who are too stupid to plainly write an amendment.

Because it will add a school board to the state which will provide funding

And I guess she ignored the bad things about Cassidy and Letlow. I don't talk politics with her because she has no ability to use reason. She trusts everything the news says. I call it the Walter Cronkite effect. You should hear the debates I had with her about the COVID vaxx. She thought I was crazy for getting fired for fighting against my employer's attempt to mandate it.

Why would people want businesses to pay taxes on inventory at the end of the year? Am I missing something?

Because the amendment reads like businesses could be exempt from property taxes. (Example Blackrock doesn’t pay property taxes on property) People see any exemption as a motivator to raise milage rates on the nonexempt.

They need to word these amendments in such a way if someone reads it for the 1st time in the booth, they understand what it is.

that very fact, that this is somehow a state issue, is even more of a reason to vote Yes. We need smaller community-driven school systems.

50 of 64 Parishes have reported absentee results

150 of 3,722 precincts reporting

Letlow 44%
Fleming 30%
Cassidy 23%

All 5 amendments still NO... even #3 trending more NO

Does Louisiana do runoffs for primaries? Im pretty sure they do in general elections, not sure if primary was the same.
