I was going to work on some fences today. Looks like that's out the window.

He has to ask all of those things.
I wasn't talking about the boilerplate he was reading off.

Wow....just wow.
There's no reason.
There's no reason.

Why would they do this after they saw how the fat boy treated the photographer testifying yesterday?

I disagree. Don't leave anything unturned. The way our judicial system has been going and the media - throw everything you can at this regardless of how much you are winning by.

This feels like watching a movie like Titanic where you know a disaster is coming but all the characters in the movie don't.

I don't think his attorneys would be calling him if they didn't think he was capable of handling it.

The defense atty has probably told Kyle all of the questions that the ADA will ask him and prepped him so that he will destroy him.

i mean..in a perfect world a person with nothing to hide wouldn't be scared to get in front of the court to tell the truth.
but i get that the truth is only a small part of whats happening here too.

If you have no prior convictions on point for the state to impeach you with, are a relatively good and confident public speaker, and your counsel has prepared you well, it's a pretty good idea to let the jury hear from you. Oh and if you're truly innocent.

There is nothing the prosecutors could ask Kyle that he has not already been asked during interrogations. They are putting him on the stand because they know he knows this story better than anyone else and he is a great witness for himself.
This is also for PR purposes because this put everything he has to say on the record so there will not be a circus around him for the rest of his life. This will take a lot of pressure off him for the rest of his life because no one can say he is/was hiding anything.

Unless they have some bombshell, that I have no idea what could be, I see zero reason to put him on the stand.
Posted on 11/10/21 at 9:48 am to shspanthers
This is so dumb. No reason at all to put him up there. Beyond belief stupid.

Kyle will be fine!!!! He showed us all how he performs under pressure that night!

They're destroying the whole "He shouldn't have been there" narrative.
His father lived in Kenosha, he had other family that lived in Kenosha, he's going over all his CPR and medical certifications
