The problem is - the defense gained very little. Any losses are unforced errors.

I never have a problem with a defendant taking the stand = unless I am afraid of prosecutorial malpractice = like this.

Watching this travesty is making me rethink that - prosecutions like this make me rethink that.

Is it though? They’re trying to get Kyle on:

Putting out a fire(s)
Driving without a license
Playing video games
Out past curfew
Crossing the street (wtf)

Using GPS for directions to somewhere he’s already been.

Mistrial with prejudice means there cannot be another trial.

Why the frick did they put him on the stand. This isn't going to hurt him too bad but there is no reason for this.

I'm starting to think Kyle's legal team has deliberately thrown this case on instructions from someone much higher up.

the prosecutor was treading on getting a mistrial with prejudice... which is essentially the same as an acquittal

Prosecution’s case is “he shouldn’t have been there even though he did nothing illegal therefore you should convict him.”

Binger testifying why Rittenhouse had the gun. Unbelievable.

Is the defense setting up summary judgement?

His continually pushing the "you should have never been there or had that weapon" angle.

I think I understand the defense's move here. Let the prosecution land what they believe is their best shots, then on redirect tear them apart and show they have not proven their case. Leave no doubt in the jurors minds.

What's he going to do with his AR other than take it with him? Lean it against a fence?

Also, you shouldn't have put out any fires that were set illegally. . .
