Most states have jury tampering statues. It would likely fall under that.
Last week someone was taking pics of the jurors at some parking lot where they meet to get on the bus. The police detained them and deleted the pics/video from their phone.
This isn't the first time they have tailed the jury.

Unless you looked up his voting record or something, nothing has indicated he is a Dem. He simply cares too much about what the media thinks of him and is making very poor judgement calls.

But...he's right about jury intimidation working. We've all heard stories about how the mafia used to successfully threaten juries and witnesses.
It's our government's fault. They silently allow the jury intimidation to happen. The threats of targeting and riots are real.. and the jurors know that when it happens, the law enforcement will not do anything.
If jurors had assurance that our government would arrest motherfrickers who issue death Threats or stalk/attack them... less jurors would get intimidated, imo.
